Our story

Something to Root About was a surprise to my wife Noely and I.

We had just finished a multi-year back yard landscaping renovation and as winter was approaching, we brought in a few plants indoors which quickly turned into a few more than a few plants, it actually was not too far from a couple hundred plants and yes, completely consumed our spare bedroom. That's when we realized that this hobby, slight obsession, and new venture could quickly become a sustainable business and on July 5th we filed articles of organization and our 2nd small business was born.

We are truly enjoying the plant sales, meeting so many new people, connecting with them all and our ultimate goal is to open a plant boutique with enough space to also accommodate a photo studio. 

In the meantime, "at home" sales and public events it is, and soon, on-line sales will follow.
